Compassionate Counselling

Sometimes life can feel heavy in ways that are difficult to explain.

You may appear strong and high-functioning on the outside while quietly carrying anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, loneliness, or exhaustion within.

Counselling offers a space to slow down, breathe, and look into what you are carrying without judgement or pressure to “fix” yourself.

I am a qualified counsellor, a registered member of the BACP, and have worked with people through emotional crisis.

I work with adults & young adults (16+), welcoming people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and life experiences.

Together we can help difficult challenges feel less overwhelming, helping you move forward with self-compassion and emotional wellbeing.

What Clients Say

While every counselling journey is unique, clients often describe leaving my sessions feeling lighter, calmer, and better able to make sense of what they are going through.

 Sue B., Somerset, the UK

"When I first met Thu, I immediately found her softly spoken and calming. At the time, I was emotionally overwhelmed and living in survival mode. Her gentle, reassuring approach helped me navigate my anxiety and reactive patterns in a way that felt safe and manageable.

I am still growing and transforming, but I am incredibly grateful to Thu for helping me get to where I am today. She has a wonderful gift for explaining things clearly and providing practical tools that I could genuinely apply in my everyday life. Her support has been invaluable, and I cannot thank her enough for the positive impact she has had on my journey."

Living Between Cultures

For some people, emotional struggles can be connected to the experience of living between cultures, countries, languages, expectations, or identities.

Adapting to a new environment can bring growth, but also feelings of isolation, pressure, confusion, self-doubt, or not fully belonging anywhere. Even everyday lives, such as communication difficulties, cultural misunderstandings, or feeling different from those around you, can quietly affect emotional balance over time.

Having lived across different countries and cultures myself, I notice some of the complexities that can come with cultural adjustment, identity, and belonging.

You do not need to explain or justify these experiences. They are valid and deserve understanding.
